Overflow and infinity pools: balance tanks, channels and why they lose water differently
In an overflow or infinity pool the pumps keep the pool filled to the edge, and the changes in water level happen in the balance tank instead. Evaporation over the edge, overflow to waste and an auto fill that quietly tops up can all hide a loss, so the tank level and the top up volume are what tell you how much water the pool really uses.

Pool chillers in the UAE: why summer water gets too warm and what a specialist checks
In a UAE summer the sun and the air keep adding heat to the water, so an unshaded pool can become uncomfortably warm. A pool chiller (or a heat pump with a cooling mode) uses a refrigeration cycle to move heat out of the water, and how well it works depends on correct sizing, adequate water flow, free airflow around the unit and the outdoor conditions.

Pool lighting: failed lights, water in the light, LED conversion and electrical safety
Switch the light off at the breaker, keep people out of the water near it if there is any doubt, and call a qualified electrician. Underwater lights must run on low voltage with earth leakage protection, and a light with water inside is an electrical hazard until it has been checked.

Variable speed pool pumps and energy use: how they work and what to ask before switching
Yes, because a pump's power draw falls far faster than its speed: at half speed it moves half the water for about one eighth of the power. In Dubai the savings are limited by the rule that pool water must be turned over within four hours, so the pump has to be set up for your pool, your equipment and that requirement, not left on a generic programme.
