How listings and ranking work
Dubai Pool Pros is a directory, not a contractor. We do not inspect pools, recommend one business over another or take part in any contract. This page explains what you see on a profile.
Five different statuses
Unclaimed listing
Created by us from public data: OpenStreetMap and Overture Maps, both open data licences. The business has not confirmed anything. We show the source on the profile and remove the listing if the business asks.
Claimed
Someone proved to us that they represent the business, with an e-mail address on the business domain or a trade licence. We review every claim by hand. Claimed says who manages the profile, not how good the work is.
Checked by the directory team
A single detail, such as a service, a pool type, a trade licence or a qualification, that we compared against evidence: documents, project photos with dates, or the official licence register. Shown per detail, never as one badge for the whole business.
Stated
What the business, or the public source, says about itself. We have not checked it. Most details on most profiles are stated.
Premium, Featured Partner, Sponsored
Paid memberships. Premium unlocks a richer profile. Featured Partners also appear in a sponsored slot, always labelled. Paying never buys a checked mark and never changes the order of normal results.
How results are ordered
- A business must cover your area: within the distance it states, or in an emirate it lists.
- It must offer what you asked for. For a problem, at least one service that addresses it. If you name a pool type and the business lists pool types without yours, it is left out.
- The remaining businesses are ordered by how many of the relevant services they offer, with a small extra weight for checked details, then by distance and how complete the profile is.
The membership plan is not part of this calculation.
Reviews
We do not show ratings yet. We will not copy reviews from other platforms or publish reviews we cannot attribute to a real customer. When reviews come, they will be moderated before publication.
