Who is responsible

We process personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and its implementing regulations.

What we collect and why

• Enquiries you send to a business. Name, e-mail, optional phone and area, and your message. We pass them to the business you chose so it can reply, and keep them for up to 24 months so the business can find them in its dashboard. Basis: your consent, given in the form.
• Contact and correction requests. Name, e-mail and message, to answer you. Kept for up to 24 months after the request is closed.
• Business accounts. Name, e-mail, password (stored only as a salted hash), and the business details you enter. Basis: our contract with you.
• Claim documents. Trade licences uploaded to prove ownership. Visible only to the directory team, kept while the claim is open and for 12 months after the decision.
• Payments. Handled by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers. We keep invoices as required for accounting.
• Usage statistics. We count page views, searches and clicks to show businesses what their profile receives and to improve the directory. This count sets no cookies: visitors are counted with a daily changing, one-way code made from technical request data, and we do not store IP addresses.
• Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and how you arrived. Google sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID> for up to 24 months. Basis: our legitimate interest in improving the directory. You can turn it off at any time in the banner or with the "Cookie settings" link; we then delete these cookies and no longer load Google Analytics.

Cookies

We use one strictly necessary cookie to keep business users signed in, and Google Analytics cookies, which you can turn off at any time in the banner or with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. We store your choice in your browser. We use no advertising cookies.

Who receives data

The business you contact; our hosting, e-mail and payment providers acting on our instructions; Google, for Google Analytics unless you turned it off; authorities where the law requires it. Some providers process data outside the UAE; we use them only with adequate safeguards.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to processing, by writing to hello@dubaipoolpros.com. Businesses listed from public data can ask us to correct or remove their listing at any time through the correction form.

Changes

We update this policy when our processing changes and show the date of the last update at the top.
